Abstract: 2-Amino-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-5,7-diarylpyrido[4,3-d]pyrimidin-4-ols were synthesized from various ethyl 2,6-diaryl-4-oxopiperidin-3-carboxylates with guanidine hydrochloride in presence of sodium ethoxide.
