dc.description.abstract | Metal oxides are significant materials in recent research scenario in pharmaceutical applications like anti-oxidant, anti-fungal, antimicrobial, etc., photovoltaic applications with higher efficiency, thin film material, biomedical implant materials, bio-imaging and drug delivery applications, dietary supplements, biosensing platforms, electrodes in various electrochemical cells, photocatalyst, corrosion materials and so on. The present review includes the applications of metal oxides and its composite materials in various fields, their significance in corrosion and electrochemical studies, and their mechanisms. It also highlights its biomedical importance and as sensors which are useful in creating an ecofriendly platform. | en_US |
