Abstract: | Global climate change is being a hot debate in the present modernized world. Everywhere in the world all countries are facing rise in temperature in the atmosphere due to which there is high fluctuation in the rainfall, decreasing of ground water, flood during high rainfall, drought, soil erosion, heavy wind, rising of sea level, melting of glacier etc. even though it is been seen as natural factor even humans contribution is being large in number. With this kind of climate change there is large and dangerous effect on the agriculture of the world. Agriculture is one of the most necessary activities that are very much needed for mankind as without food living of human becomes very difficult. But with this change in the climatic condition now a day’s agricultural labour are facing it difficult to depend on agriculture for their livelihood. This is being one of the main reasons for them to migrate to urban areas and indulge them into some other works for money. This present study is been made in order to analyze the impact of climate change on the migrant labors who are been employed in garment industries with special concentration to Tirupur district. Data`s pertaining to the study was collected from 100 migrant workers randomly. |
