Abstract: Ayurveda medicine is a system of medicine with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent. Globalized and modernized practices derived from Ayurveda traditions are a type of complementary or alternative medicine. In the Western world, Ayurveda therapies and practices (which are manifold) have been integrated in general wellness applications and as well in some cases in medical use. This study primarily focuses on the awareness level, attitude and satisfaction among the public towards the ayurvedic treatment. For the purpose of the study 150 respondents were identified through purposive sampling method. It is found from the study that most of the respondents prefer ayurvedic treatment for cold, fever and boils.
