KNOWLEDGE AND USE OF E-RESOURCES BY THE RESEARCH SCHOLARS OF ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN KARUR DISTRICT

Abstract

Electronic Resources are becoming very important these days as they are more up-to-date and can be accessed anywhere. Crossing all geographical boundaries. Such resources add value while conducting R&D activities. The purpose of this paper is to present the fact the electronic resources are a significant part of research scholars for their research. The study focuses on the impact and use of e-resources by research scholars pursuing research. The data were collected through a questionnaire accompanied by personal interview. This was further analyzed using statistical techniques and percentages to arrive at qualitative and quantitative results.
