dc.description.abstractThis research paper investigates income streams such as fund income and fee income of private sector banks. Income streams of private sector banks are studied over a period of 2005–2018 and data is collected from the Reserve Bank of India database on Indian economy. The fund income and fee income are two income streams for the bank. The fund income and fee income is compared with the total income and total assets over the period of study. Average and standard deviation is calculated to study the consistency over the Period of study. The focus is that in today's era of competition, income streams of bank are changing. The study reveals that new private banks non-interest income is increasing over the years whereas interest income is the main source of income for old private banks.en_US
