Abstract:	E-way bill stands for electronic way bill. It is a compliance document to be carried by a carrier of consignment. A unique bill number will be generated for the specific consignment involving the movement of goods. Section 68 of GST act mandates e-way bill requirement and procedure aspects are prescribed under the rule 138 of GST act. As e- way bill system has been implemented in Tamil Nadu on 2nd June 2018. This study enables us to understand about traders awareness towards E-way bill.
